#9 The Game of Politics

From my point of view. 

Wanna know how uninterested I am in politics? I'll tell you how uninterested in politics I am. Some of you may go "Why? Politics is sooo interesting!" or something like that. I can actually imagine TK telling me that. lol. It's been a long time since I've spoken to him. Hmm.
Anyways, back to showing you how uninterested I am in politics. So everyone as in all Sibuans know about the by election since the passing of Robert Lau Hoi Chew. The past week or so, in Sibu has been very  热闹. I'm sorry, I don't think there's an exact English word for that. Exciting? Doesn't fit here I think. Because of the by election, lots of people were out every night for free dinners, listening to campaign talks and whatnot. Most people go and listen to the talk by the Democratic Action Party (DAP) [Correct me if I'm wrong = =] compared to Barisan Nasional (BN). Rejang Park which is like just behind my house is one of the places they give talk every night. For the past 2/3 nights, I can actually hear the talks from my place. I went to Rejang Park last Thursday night with my parents to look around and join in the excitement? I had my earphones in my ears the whole time. Uh-huh.... My 2nd sis seems really excited about the by election. She's been following almost every movement of it since last night through the internet and when she tells me about it, I'm like "yeah" "...." "ok". Emotionless. That's me facing politics. Emotionless. Moving on to today...
Today is polling day. Results were supposedly out by 9 earlier this evening. However it's still not out. Every Sibuan on facebook is posting that DAP won which I guess is quite true, since they were leading quite a bit. They're not announcing it yet because BN lost, and they're trying to find ways by crook to see if they can make BN win. or something. whatever. Everyone is like really excited about the results. Me? I feel NOTHING. yeah, that's right. Nothing whatsoever. I'll get excited once somebody does something about the road conditions in Sibu a.s.a.p. Hopefully, that'll be DAP once it's confirmed that they've won. 

Yeah.... that's me. 

UPDATE: DAP won. whoopdeedoo! *blank face*

#8 Relationship Talk part 2

This post is just to put down CMY's prediction of my future bf and husband. Lol, I wanna write it down here so that next time I can look back on this when I get a boyfriend or when I get married.
CMY's predictions:-
Future boyfriend/husband: 
1. Wears specs
2. Taller than me but not too tall
3. Asian, but not exactly Malaysian (he may be but he may be not, cuz i think u also love 异国帅哥) [In green is what cmy said to me. which is true! :P]
4. Professional career eg. lawyer, doctor, architect
5. Earns a lot of money
I*CMY* predict you*Me, Iris* might have a bf maybe at the end of ur first yr uni, or the starting of second yr~ teeheee~ and ur 1st bf might not exactly be ur husband~ hoho~

#7 Relationship talk

Just a note before I start talking bout what this post is supposedly about.... Super Junior 4jib is out!!! I so need to get that album. I've listened to snippets of the tracks on the album from here and I'm loving the songs. Ultimate favorites? I'm digging track 2 나쁜 여자 (Boom Boom). The korean words translate to Bad Girl. Another song I like is track 6 사랑이 이렇게 (My All Is In You). Korean words translate to Love like this. Translation is something like that. Haha! A very rough translation by me! Gotta work on getting my korean better.

Ok, enough for that. So bout my title post... Recently when chatting with my friends, the topic of relationship keeps popping up. Lol! Like with B&D, we talked about two certain people who we still can't believe are together! Nuff said about that.
I was talking with Louis last night. I mentioned my bro getting married. So he got to predicting how my future boyfriend/husband would be like since I said CMY did that before. It was hilarious seeing his 'guesses'. It was fun and funny.
So what did he say? Hold on, lemme pull out the chat log..... BRB.
Ok, let's see. Starting off, he predicted my boyfriend will have specs and be the same height as I am. I'll have a boyfriend in my 2nd or 3rd year of uni. Bf would be Asian-Malaysian. Specifically from Penang. Louis calculated that my 3rd bf would be my husband. Husband would be a lawyer working at a big law firm, 2 years older than I am. Lol, that's about it.
I don't remember what exactly did CMY predicted. 1st bf=1st husband? Rich guy. Doctor also? Was that it?
Ahahaha, this really is hilarious. And note, I so do not have guys lining up wanting to date me. not now, not ever! Who am I? A celeb? O_o Yeah, not happening. Got it, CMY, lou?

#3 The substitute teacher & trying out blog templates

Today I had to relieve a teacher teaching in my mom's tuition school. She said she might come for the class at 3, but she didn't. Dang, she ruined my plan to bake cupcakes. I was at my mom's tuition center from 12.30 (class actually starts at 12.20 but I was late cause I had to have my lunch) till 5.30. The 1st class was a-ok. 2nd class was terrible, of all the classes I ever took, they were the worst. I actually really feel like banging my head against the wall. I just can't be strict with kids. I don't know why, I just can't. The last hour of class, Mrs Han, my mom's vice principal switched classes with me since hers was writing a narrative poem. THANK YOU MRS HAN! 

That being my day, I ended up not being able to make cupcakes in time for Mother's Day since I thought we really had plain flour according to mom. But I was careless, checked everything else, and I thought for sure we had plain flour since my mom said so, so I didn't check the flour. Darn. Well, at least I have something else for mom.

Oh, and I found a new template for my blog. Not blogger's own. It's good with the fact that now you can see the whole youtube video. BUT. I don't know what's with the 'Home-About-Contact-Login' buttons. I can't get rid of it. And the nav bar is gone, so I can't just click on customize. It's a nice design really, but I don't think I'm keeping it. Will change it tomorrow or whenever I have the time. Just a picture to show you how it's like for when after I change the template.

Ok, so I'm keeping this short and simple. Straight to the point. Long story short, I'm bored! lol. I've been thinking about starting a blog for a looong time, but knew I'm gonna abandon it really fast so never did get around to starting one. Anyways, since CMY got one, CYY might as well get one too. haha... we do things together. Like just few days ago, we started typingwithoutspacing!

Don't expect me to update a lot. My life is boring :S So yeah... Stay tune! Wait, this ain't a TV show or whatever. Geez. Anyways, will try to update often.

Oh... and about the title of my blog. Yeah, got it from OneRepublic's Album. Just because I can't think of a good title. Will change if I can come up with something good.
